Mechanical Engineer/Advanced Programmer – Mossville

BSME or MSME - Must have advanced level of computer skills, such at C, C++, MFC and GUI

This individual will assist in developing data analysis software for Engineering Testing. Candidate may be expected to analyze data also.

Desirable Education & Qualifications:
Advanced (MS) degree in Engineering, Mathematics or related degree area with advanced programming skills.
Alternatively, Computer Science degree (MS) or minor with Engineering (BS) type degree. Experience in MFC (Microsoft Foundation Classes) Development and GUI (Graphical User Interface) Design is also desirable.

Project description:
Responsible for the development and support of advanced data analysis software tools for the visualization and exploration of mechanical systems.
Analysis includes a full suite of time domain, frequency domain, statistical and life prediction tools as well as engine emissions calculations and optimization.
Visualization includes two-dimensional curves, three-dimensional curves, surfaces, and animations.
Responsibilities also include the development of GUI interfaces and plotting improvements.
User support and training on the use of these data analysis tools is provided by this team to a user base of over 1500 clients engineers worldwide.
